why do we have an acst forum ?
edit : considering there is about 3 threads in there..

why do we NOT have an EFS forum ?
edit : considering all the bba/mktg/acct's/econ/finance students there are.

we have an acst forum because MQ is number 1 in ACST and we need to promote that.

we don't have an EFS forum because there arn't really EFS related questions except for when exam time comes..... or the odd person asking for unit outlines........

thats fine, but it should not be the [only] grounds for a sub-forum...

EFS forum will not just be request for outlines lol....it would include those who wanna post questions about their efs subs, the list is endless !

i read another forum that has secret code between members. they ask a seemingly innocuous question and there is a special reply that indicates you are a member of the forum. maybe we can just meet up though. this is one of the advantages of all that stalking

I'm pretty easy to stalk. There's a bad photo and some info bout me in the main PR brochure they had at Advising Day.

While it is asserted that the ACST forum has about '3 threads' in it, this forum has more posts than the 'Law' and 'Medicine' forums. Hell, it's ratio to the number of posts in the ANU forum is 76%.

I think it is really necessary to have an ACST sub forum because this course generates a crap load of interest and a lot of kids choose actuarial studies without really knowing what it is and what they are getting themselves into. The sub forum gives them a place to air their concerns.

If we have an EFS forum also, what next? An optoelectronics and linguistics subforum? We'll end up with all academic related stuff being posted in the subforums with the main macquarie forum full of spam and stalker related stuff (which scares a lot of normal people away - I've actually seen this happen).

Ppl ask about law xfering because ATM, its due next week.
I do not recall any linguistics threads in the MQ forum.

edit: i just counted, on the main MQ page forum, there have been 5 threads that relate to the EFS department.

Don't ever underestimate the power of middle management. They're the ones who can squat people like flies.


If anything, we should have a "Transfers and Law" forum.
