Hi, I'm Aly - I'm new and I'd love to come to the meet-up, because I'm from the back of beyond (near Byron Bay really) and I know no-one at all. A few people from my school are going to Sydney but I don't know if they're going to USyd or what. So I'm all alone...

But yeah, I'm free (or I will be) to come to the meet-up.

Oh - I'm not new to BOS, I just had to make a new ID because I forgot the password to the old one, and the password to the email address I used. :mad1:

Nothing beats the 05 meet-up. There were a couple of groups hanging around fisher library, and we all knew the others were from BoS, but were too shy to say anything until my friend (who is a non-boser) asked if they were from BoS about 20 minutes later.

Same here. Looks like a lot of people are shy. For example, sometimes I even have trouble going into shops if there's noone else in there, because then the sales assistant (hah! as if they actually help with selling stuff to shy people!) will come up to me and ask me stuff, and then watch me while I look around. Ack. I have to get over this thing.

So we all have to look for people not looking at anyone else? Cool.
