What is your favourite british comedy shows, i love black books, it crowd, hardware and little britain to name a few

* The Armstrong & Miller Show - surprisingly good stuff, hopefully ABC will show the 2nd series next year
* Black Adder - classic stuff
* Allo Allo - saw it again on TV recently, still as good as it was 20 years ago
* Mr Bean - of course
* Big Train - very under-rated sketch show from the late 90s but features the early work of Simon Pegg and Catherine Tate among others.

If you get a chance, try to catch "Ideal" on ABC2 on Thursdays. It's produced exclusively for digital TV (BBC3, ABC2, etc). It's developed a bit of a cult following in the UK.

Fawlty Towers is one of the best British Comedies. John Cleese and the spanish waiter are so mad in that.
