Stars was really really good. I haven't been listening to them for that long but I was really happy with their set, they were talking with the crowd and really getting everyone into it and stuff.
Did a lot of stuff from Set Yourself on Fire which was awesome.

But this post is mainly for Broken Social Scene, who are probably the best band I've seen live.

Good Lord what an amazing gig.

I was getting kinda sceptical when it said it started at 8, I got there, then was told the support only got on at 9. Also, the support sucked.

But BSS, WOW is all I can say. Infuckingcredible. They got on at like, 10:18 maybe (10:15 planned start) then said "this is our last song" at about 11:50 (scheduled end time was 11:45) and they just never left the stage. Finally at half past twelve (30 MINUTE ENCORE) they said be safe and left.

Best moment was when Kevin was introducing everybody then says ladies and gentlemen...FEIST and everyone practically goes ZOMG!!! Couldn't pick best song because all of them were pretty incredible. Seriously, see them at Laneway. Although I can assure you it won't be anywhere close to the awesomeness I just witnessed
