how does bus studies scale ?
eg if i got above 80, do i still get scaled down?
if not , what is the mark that would scal u down?:apig:

UAC almost always scales down your mark.
In 2002 business had below average scaling.
So a mark of 80 would be scaled down to about a 71.

But you -never- get to see your scaled mark so if you want to talk about aligned mark then you don't get scaled down. Rather your mark will be adjusted to fit the band it belongs in. The mark is adjusted typically upwards. How well a subject aligns is undetermineable at this time as it changes from year to year

In 2001 Bizos stayed pretty much the same, it definitely didnt scale THAT bad.

As for picking bad scaling subjects, I agree with wholey with Lazarus. Its the same issue with doing 10 units instead of 12. There's the "backup" 2 units. BUT if you only do the 10 units, then you can use the time you would have spent studying for those extra 2 units on your 10 units, so you will do better in all your subjects. Why do a ton of work when it wont count anyway?

I'm a bludger so if I did 10 units I would waste the time anyway, I'm procastrinating and I'm doing 12 units atm!

I also have a tendency to suddenly screw up exams for no reason

Also risk of unforeseen incidents on exam day
