Does anyone know if business studies scales up?? If so, if i were to get a 50/100 raw mark in the hsc exam what will it scale to???

It scales down.

But the 50/100raw would probably ALIGN up.

50...yeah it would align up, but that wont help at all, it'll just look better, in the end a mark of 50/100 would scale down crap. seriously.

Business Studies has very average scaling - scales similar to subjects such as Biology, Legal Studies etc. Basically what you get in the exam is what you'd expect as your moderated HSC mark, don't expect any miracles.

That's aligning - and I must say, that's pretty drab :S

My bad about the scaling bit.

But still, with business studies, especially in the top end, they won't align you and even if they do it would be insignificant. Why? Because it is literally possible to get close to or even get 100% in the external HSC.

It's not a subject like MX2 - for business, full marks is attainable.

Getting full marks in MX2 I dare say is impossible unless you are literally a genius and lucky.
