They didn't know about the program... I tried to explain it as best I could but who knows. After thinking about the interview more, there are a few other things I think I could have done better. Namely, not telling the William Buck HR rep that I wanted to do vac work at a big 4. I had to take the gamble though!
I just got a call from CA that PwC wanted some more CA Achievers and I got offered a place. I'm totally stoked... couldn't believe that I got the job after being told I had not got in... especially getting PwC. I should buy a lottery ticket I think

My group presentation wasn't very good =(... I improved in the individual interview though.

Was your interview in the morning or afternoon koecko?

Urgh, that was fun. I did the afternoon Sydney session.

The group activities are fairly simple. Needed a bit of impromptu presentation skill.

The interviews were... again, not too taxing, pretty much what you'd expect.

For the Sydney people, does anyone know when we'll be notified of when we're accepted or rejected?

I got a call yesterday. I've been offered a placement in a small insolvency firm. I'm very happy, because I'm interested in these types of areas of accounting(i.e. risk management).

Good luck =) Hope to see you at the awards night next Thursday if you get an offer!

Looking forward to tomorrow night!

I just got an email saying that I have been offered to attend the group activity for 2008 applicants.

What would be the best way to prepare for it?
Also my results aren't really that flashy. Is that going to be a problem? or at this point are they satisfied with it?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated :)
