Just to add on that, there was 14 chosen for interviews at BDO, so I reckon they shortened it alot! Last year they took on 5 times more cadets then this years target of 2, so definitely a smaller group this year!! which is why I guess they were more selective.

Probably a little silly on their part. What happens if the two they make offers to also get offers elsewhere (and choose them over BDO)? Then you've rejected everybody else and have no cadets. :/

4 people didn't show up for a meet session with the firm's partners,graduates,cadets. So I'm guessing they got offers elsewhere(Ellen was one of them!).Interviews are next week, which is later then most big 4 cadet interviews,so it should work out somehow for them, the others I've met were as pumped as I was for a spot haha.

mhmm. its making me anxious now, i had the phone interview last wednesday, from 2-3 still no response :/

they said they'll get back in 5-10 days so don't give up yet! I actually thought I didn't get through because everyone seemed to have gotten a call. I applied for assurance btw. And the lady said AC's will be conducted throughout next week apparently. Anyone know how many other people I will be seeing there on that day?

Also; They could be contacting people alphabetically and your at opposite ends, by application number etc. Plus As one of you is HSC and the other first year, you might be tested separately because they have slightly different merits to test.

So don't give up yet.
