Who gives a shit if it's not available in newsagents? Kids can get it over the internet anyway, so why bother?

Hey, I've never really paid much attention to these porn magazines, but aren't the widely available ones mostly just non-intercourse porn? Like just naked people standing around, talking, having a cuppa etc? What's wrong with naked people?

I think the argument goes that since the porn isn't put in context the kids who see it will then go rape some girls. Seems reasonable when you occasionally read news stories of like 9 to 12 year old kids getting in trouble for sexual assault. I haven't seen any studies/evidence on it and I don't care enough to look.

The stories are actually more common than you think. I've been researching some of it for uni, and I've found 5 or so articles in two newspapers alone. However, I don't think that the 'porn' magazines in newsagents are the ones responsible at all.

But the stories themselves appear more often than people think they do. I didn't expect to find so many in such a small sample space.

I honestly wonder if it's profitable for them anyway, most people are too embarassed to 'browse' through them.
mate i work in a newsagency, and for the people who do buy them its either...."oh its for a joke cos its a friends birthday" or the more common "no, mate!!!! i dont want a bag with that!!!im proud of what i read!!!!" i really dont care what people do, but i see the point, the economist is almost next to time magazine, and especially in petrol stations there like 1m away from k-zone ect
