I know they can strongly advise against it but would they actually be able to stop you and say no, go find other pathways?
do you mean that you don't think I can repeat? Is this because of your attendance and Do u mean early entry? If not I dont think you can, pretty sure you have to get an approval/graduation document from your school? Not sure, I would advise you to ask your careers advisor
I think this question was looked at in depth a couple days ago cant remember the thread name sorry but search up “repeating hsc” or repeating yr 12 on BoS!! someone mightve answered what you’re wanting to knowdo you mean that you don't think I can repeat?

I feel like this Q would be best asked directly to ur school/ careers advisor.do you mean that you don't think I can repeat?
you're right, it definitely has haha. thanks! I'll try my best but at this point I know that I can't get the mark I really hope for. Even if I get a few other offers I'm worried that the school would turn me down because I did get into Uni, but not for the course I want and also not with the ATAR I want (which seems petty I know oop, it's hard to explain)Try and focus on getting through this HSC first. I think the idea of repeating has sort of consumed and distracted you, but it's something you can worry about a bit later. Your goal is quite achievable given your goal ATAR, desired course, and your school marks/ability (not like you are trying to get 99.95 and averaged 5% at school) so put your energy into trying your best right now - this will reflect positively in your ATAR and you might not end up having to repeat.
You can repeat certain individual subjects at TAFE next year if you don't feel like repeating the whole course load at a school. As explained in other threads you can definitely 'catch up' at uni as well.
Also, USyd has a “Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science”. Have a look into it - you basically get to do one arts major and one science major in a 3 year degree. the ATAR is 70 which is a bit lower than the one for Arts or Science.you're right, it definitely has haha. thanks! I need an atar of 80 and I would try to be happy with anything above that, but for myself (and to make repeating worth it) it would be amazing to get 95+ particularly because there is a scholarship usyd gives out if you do get that which would help make paying for on-campus accommodation much easier.Just curious, what is your desired mark that you are looking to repeat for?
