Can I choose two different English courses? (1 Viewer)

I'm doing first year BA/BEd and I've already enrolled in Edu Psych, English - "ways of writing" and Drama. I'd also like to do the other English course offered which is "imagining the city" but I'm not sure if I can choose two courses within the same subject area (being English). Can I study more than 6 units of English in semester 1?

I'm going to preface this by saying that I'm not 100% sure for arts education but for a normal arts degree you just can't do more than 12 units from one subject area in first year (i.e. if you're doing english again in second semester then no you can't do two in first semester)
