You need to aim realisticly. With your ranks you will need to get about 100 in the externals for everything to get over 95 UAI.

This is what I got in my half yearly exams and my current course rank.

Advanced English - 7/15
General Maths - 15/45
Music 1 - 1/3
Society and Culture - 1/15
Entertainment VET - 1/6



I'll be ecstatic with a UAI over 80.

Lake Munmorah High School ranked 552 last year with 7 credits.

I would say 80 seems possible. Improve on maths and english to about top 10 in maths. and top 5 in eng.

ok...so i have been studying 6 hours a night

i am aiming to get into medicyne

my marks and ranks are:

English standard - 65% (25/45)
General Maths - 82% (15/60)
Geography - 92% (23/28)
Physics - 45% (18/22)
Business Studies - 72% (17/19)
Ancient History - 68% (1/12)

So can people please help me in my endouver to medicyne?

I am not sure what marks are desired and needed for Medicyne

What marks do i need in my Tryals and HSc to get into Medicyne??

Alternatively if i dont get into medicyne, i could settle for Law

Hahaha.....no way. You won't get into Law or Medicine.
you'd have to get 110% in your externals to get a UAI of 95.
But since a mark of 110% is impossible for your external HSC you can't get a UAI of 95.

I hope you didn't "boost" your ext history by 5 marks and put it into SAM.
Those marks seems reasonable for your rank and school. What is more accurate is to find out the percentage of people getting over a certain mark for each of your subects and deduce from your ranks which mark range you can get.

At the moment, I think those ranks can get you to 90.

The other issue I’m having is that this same individual says he will “settle for law” if his “MEDICYNE” dream doesn’t work out... As someone who is aiming for law, I pity myself if I somehow end up in the same lectures/tutorials/university as this certain person who is committing such terrible grammatical errors (the irony of a Trinity Grammar student having terrible spelling and grammar has not escaped me).

The other thing is, let me know when the “fat lady signs” next. I really want her autograph, I hear that as a singer, she’s fantastic. There’s this thing called a brain. It lets you proofread your posts before you post them. Maybe you should try it some time. It will also help you with the spelling of such words as “fine” and “medicine” and “everything” and “either” and “trials” and “endeavour”. It may also ensure that you are disinclined to call people on this thread who are merely opening your eyes to the reality of your situation “HEARTLESS POOPS.”

yer i didnt put up history extension at all...
the only marks i put up were english...as currently the top half of our grade is situated within about 10 marks of each other at 79 +
top mark in the entire course is 89.

as for maths...that ranking is including the 3 unit students who also do 2 unit, in the actual 2 unit course i am coming i think around top 10/15

All other marks i didnt put up by more than 2 i think, as apparently our assessments are marked harder..im not sure about that..hence why i am asking for clarification.
So do i trust the SAM thing?
