Can I still get a 90+? (1 Viewer)

Hi I'm new here
I got my school report a couple days ago and i'm pretty worried since I stuffed up the first half of year 12 and currently having a REALLY bad ranking. I haven't done trials yet so if i smash trials and HSC do I still have hope of achieving a 90+ ATAR?
I have a Chinese background so my courses are pretty weird haha.
ESL 4/23
2U Maths 15/61
3U Maths 20/27
Physics 18/28
Business Studies 17/32
Chinese Background Speakers 13/19 (lol)

My school ranked something like 130s in 2012.
Another thing is, i've been scanning the forum for a couple days, and I still don't get if the internal rankings affect your final ATAR at all?
And i'm also worried because it looks like even a trial result of, say, 95% for every subjet won't boost my rankings significantly..am I doomed?
Any comments will be appreciated

To get 90's, you'd need a better ranking in Physics & 3U Maths.

I think you CAN still GET 90. Might be a bit difficult though? Ace the externals.

Thanks but does a good trial result gets me to something like top 10 in these two courses? I think its the only internal assessment left.

By the externals you mean the actual HSC we are doing in October? And does the trial still matter? Thanks

Trials will help your internal rank and make up 30-40% of your internal rank, a good show in the trials are essential to boost your internal rank. Trials represent 15% of your whole HSC , so yes they do matter and can significantly boost your atar

Internal rankings do effect your final atar cause it plays a part in determining your internal mark

I believe your sitting at about an 82-83 at the moment but a 90+ is still achievable.

Regarding internal rankings, they kind of affect your atar in that they affect the aligning process.
