Can we get tested on a related text for common module?! (1 Viewer)

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I've noticed in the rubric for the common module there's a bit stating "In addition, students select one related text and draw from personal experience to make connections between themselves, the world of the text and their wider world". Does this mean we have to memorise quotes for a related text in the actual HSC?

I'm pretty sure we do not, and don't worry not a dumb question, same thing freaked me out before trials.
