can't directly go to the site (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure if this is because i'm over seas or something, however when I type in www.boredofstudies.org into my url bar, there's always an error and it won't load (both on safari and chrome)

So I have to enter the site via google

edit: this has only started happening since the update

I can't access the resources section. A pop-up from my anti-virus avast says "Trojan horse blocked". It most likely is a false detection. Could anyone assist me with this?
