I'd suggest to KNOW these two conversions:

1 cm3 = 1 mL
1 m3 = 1 kL

Learn these ones off by heart. Then anything else you can work out.

For example if volume is 15340 cm3, then capacity is 15340 mL, but you can change this to litres by dividing by 1000 ... and get 15.34 L.

These are straight 1 to 1 conversions, so are easier to remember than others.

Hope this helps!

Just a hint, the Casio FX-100AU calculator has keys for multipliers (mega, kilo, nano, etc.) and the ability to display quantities in terms of Engineering notation.

To turn this on, press MODE x5, Disp (1), EngON (1)
To turn this off, press MODE x5, Disp (1), EngOFF (2)

Yeah, but who needs it ... except for engineers?
