Hey all, should the Practicality of a law be a measure of its effectiveness or are there any other possible measures, other than the ones in the syllabus? As in is the law plausible/realistic and is its desired aim achievable?

I think that is a reasonable criterion for effectiveness.

However, the main ones would be REAPARM - This is what I was taught:
R - Resource Efficiency
E - Enforceability
A - Application of the Rule of Law
P - Protection of Individual Rights
A - Accessibility
R - Responsiveness
M - Meeting Society's Needs

Practicality could go under meeting society's needs or accessibility.

My class uses PEARRJAM which is just the syllabus points and the same as listed above, but I noticed that the J for 'has justice been achieved?' wasn't included. I think this one links to most questions because the effectiveness of something is linked to whether or not justice is achieved. I just think it's always important to consider.

I also agree with the above statement that you could include practicality in either of those criteria, but I don't think you could just talk about it on its own.
