Casio Fx-82 sometimes fades (1 Viewer)

I've had it for about a year and the Casio occasionally FX-82 Plus II occasionally fades, with the numbers being harder to see. I haven't treated the calculator badly or anything. I have an exam coming up soon so I'm wondering if it is going to quit on me during the exam.
