Catholic studies or Studies of Religion?
Both subjects are compulsory for years 11 and 12 :blink2:

What are the perks of each (weighing, time expenditure, units ect.)?
I don't have a huge passion for either- I just want to manage my subjects so that the RE subject I choose doesn't drain my time or effort.
Thanks :)

Well, since you have to do an R.E. based course, I would go with SOR as it counts towards your ATAR. You can always drop to Catholic Studies later - but I dont think you can go from Catholic Studies to SOR.

Do SOR. It's quite easy, unique and shouldn't be hard to score a high mark if you put in a decent amount of effort.

If you don't like it and you have enough units (at least 10 in year 12), drop to Catholic Studies.

Try SOR first. Although you may not put any effort into it, you may find it interesting or better than another subject you take and may save ur ATAR if you get stuff up in another subject. If you're doing really good in all of your other subjects in prelim, you can just drop to Catholic studies
