Show that 1< k< (25/24)

It is meant to say: Show thatthe equation kx^2+5x+6 has roots which differ by <1.
Show that 1<k<(25/24)
Neither.I dont know what to make the discriminate equal to? or is it a less then or greater than sign?
Its called LaTex. Google. How do you get your writing like that?
What?Okay I feel as if there is nothing we can give to Sy123 to stump him. he will get absolutely everything lol.
O I didnt mean it like that, I just meant, seeing as though you're giving him a hint, I deduce that its likely you knew what to do instantly, so im just assuming u knew how to do the question immediately. SO yea my comment wasnt directed at this, it was more a generic statement about how its very hard to stump you hahaWhat?
I am only giving a hint to him because it seems like he legitimately wants to attempt the question, so I'm helping out. The 2U forums outside of helping other people is dead. In that it isn't like the 4U forums where people share questions for fun, whereas in the 2U forums that doesn't really happen.
I'm not doing it to prove that I can do the question.
^2So can you give me another hint?
^2So can you give me another hint?
How do you obtain the roots of this quadratic equation?Noooooooooooo-oooo, i can't think. This is too much brain power and i dont have that much brain power.
