Charge of a proton (1 Viewer)

The charge of a proton is the positive equivalent of the charge of an electron right? Because that's what I used for the electron projectile motion question. I can't even remember what I used it for now...

Did anyone else get 5.909 seconds as the time?

Yer charge is the charge on the electron just positive.

As for the answer. Honestly cant remember.

Wait now that I think about it I don't remember using the charge of a proton in the projectile motion one.... Where the hell did I use it o_O

I got 5.9 x 10^-8 seconds for the time, using the same charge (but positive) of the electron.

And oh shit I think I wrote down the decimal value whilst forgetting to write down the extra x10 to the such and such... FUCK

Think about it.
Electron has it's charge q
Positron is electrons anti-particle, having the opposite charge.

A proton is basically a neutron (no charge) + a positron (opposite charge of electron)

Therefore, the charge on a proton is opposite that of an electron! :D

smartass...ive never thought of it that way, i just knew that they were oppositely charged.
