If there were more police in neighborhoods where gun violence mostly occurred, gun violence would go down. There's no reason to expect this would result in less political shootings. Therefore, the idea that the correct response to this shooting is to focus on gun violence generally is misguided.

That’s actually part of the reason…. Not because of jobs naturally but rather increased investment into research and etc. Although I do have to note that I personally equate education with research so…

There's a higher chance of employment in large companies there and a lot of R&D and investment. The US has more opportunities than Australia for sure.
