What are the "approximate" raw marks needed to score a band 6 in both Chem and Phys?
Don't think its thats low. I'd think about 86-87. But tbh not really sure.i think 83 for both

same =pI'm pretty sure it is that low.
I'm guessing high 80's or low 90's. Don't quote me on this .What about marks around 95? What raw marks are required for that kind of mark?
Wow, I thought raw marks >94ish% scaled even. As in 94%=94, 96%=96, 98%=98. I guess 95 seems quite an achievable aim then.for 95 i think 90-91
Yeah and i was told 85 is the usual cut off for chem by a HSC senior marker ^^same =p
my teacher told me, and i think annabackwards said she has heard for phys, around 83 is band 6
Cannot predict using raw marks of school exams. Difficulty of school exams tends to vary alot, and unless you did CSSA papers, there is hardly any comparison between you and the state.where would my chem and math band range from the interal raw marks on ma sig?
Again, no one can predict. Depends on your cohort's performace and the relative difficulty of your school's exams.ok thanx. But does anyoner know as whether my internal raw marks get scaled up or down (the marks r on my sig).
soooo sori im jsut so worried how im gonna go. i mean i reeeeeeeeally hop i can get an ATAR>65Again, no one can predict. Depends on your cohort's performace and the relative difficulty of your school's exams.
P.S all subjects are scaled by UAC, just to different degrees. I think what you mean to say is that subjects that are often deemed as of middle difficulty are not excessively scaled. What would you get scaled up to if you got 70% in the HSC???????
P.S to the dude before this, english, mathematics are not scaled
Only really easy (like food tech) or really hard subjects (like physics) are scaled
