Loved chess since the first time I played, greatest mental game going in my opinion, I agree with the posts above saying it's hard to find people to play, nowadays I just play on chess.com which is pretty fantastic considering it is free

Now that uni and school will be dying down for people, we should get regular games in. How would people feel about a tournament with say weekly or biweekly rounds?

Watching the world championship has made me hungry for match play, so we could do something like a double elimination bracket of matches (matches initially being best of 2 with blitz tiebreakers if necessary, some of the final matches being best of 4, GF best of 6).

Register interest in this thread and I can work out exact details and set up a bracket .

Sure, why not. Probably lose in the first round anyway.
