Just a quick question, what sort of crime type does Child Abuse and Neglect come under? (summary, indictable, etc). I probably should know but I can't think of it!

oh i just did this for homework the other day
its part of family law
im not 100% of the type of crime-im not sure if ud really say its summary or indictable, thats more for crimes like economic offences, crimes against the person etc the stuff u learnt in crime
but its private law

*Family Violence and Child Abuse:
State Govt Dept: DoCs-The Department of Community Services handles it.
Investigates allogations of disputes
May seek care and protection orders
Handles Adoptions
