General Maths has the worst scaling compared to other subjects. BUT say you do really well in General Maths and really bad in 2U, you're better off with the scaling you get in General. Chinese Continuers doesn't actually have a bad scaling..it doesn't really have as high a scaling as chemistry, physics or biology but is better than english standards and say Visual Arts.

I think language continuers courses scale you higher than beginners or background speakers though... And extension obviously scales higher than continuers...

With this continuers and background confusion....If you have been to a school in asia for more than a year you have to go to background. If you haven't, then you are technically allowed to do Chinese continuers. That's how it works at the saturday school I go to and as far as I know, the same for the rest of the state....
