You can do whatever courses you want as long as you've done pre-reqs and there are no exclusions.

For example, your degree might say, do A then B then C then whatever. It might also say in addition to that, no more than 60uoc at the first year 1xxx level. So I suggest check the online handbook (www.handbook.unsw.edu.au) for your degree and go from there.
