What are everyone's plans for the long break to study.
i have a lot of major works (as well as general study to do) so my current thoughts are...
  • read all of my english texts (adv and eex1)
  • read like 5 inspiration novels for eex2 (i've been making a list as a part of my research)
  • completely a first full draft of my eex2 major work
  • finish memorising, blocking, etc. my drama monologue (in preparation for assessment in t1 wk2/3)
  • re-read ena common mod text, and drama australian theatre texts
  • complete a full draft of my music composition
  • complete grade 5 music theory (with the ameb exam?? in hols or t1)
  • regular music practice
  • focus on music melodic dictation and sight singing - lots of practise exercises
  • any other random homework / catchup needed to do
long story short i might be cooked with how much i need to do 💀💀

I'm going to work a bit because I'm probs gonna have to quit in y12, but otherwise I'm just gonna read some textbooks, do revision questions, write notes and look at past papers. I also need to practice essay writing for eng adv cause I'm terrible at that

uhhh idk, i want to be a journalist so my careers adviser (who works with EPP, idk if this is relevant) and i reached out to a local newspaper and they said i could intern there to get some experience 🤷‍♀️
Ohh interesting, I didn't know that was an option. Is it kinda like mandatory work experience?

we did mandatory w/e in year 10 (abc wouldn't take me and we didn't have a newspaper then) so it's def optional. i really only asked bc i know who i'll be shadowing while i intern and she's so chill hahahaha, and also why not
