Silly question, but could someone assist me by providing instructions on how to add 'repeat' citations?

I'm no tech expert, but what I anticipate is a sectioned off area at the bottom of each page. Within the composition, I'd constantly quotes and whatnot - the quotes would be numbered in superscript. At the bottom of the page, next to the corresponding number would be the source.

If I had to redraft and add another quote, how would I ensure that the numbers are adjusted automatically, rather than having to go through the trouble of manually doing so?

I've got Word 2008 for Mac.

i think what you're referring to is footnoting & in my version of word [microsoft office '07 for windows] you just go to references -> insert footnote :)

and the numbers should automatically order themselves, so you dont have to worry about changing them urself when u edit and such ;)
