its just a retail job mixed with a lot of paperwork and spreadsheets cause medical record stuff needs to be logged very strictly. it also feels a bit like how id imagine a restaurant works cause if someone hands in a prescription its like an order, you need to verify all the details with them and write a bunch of shorthand on it (spicy or not spicy?) and then you put it in a basket and ding a bell to summon the pharmacist (basically the cook), and when its done you bring it to them (so youre basically a waiter). (how it worked at my drugstore at least)
also id get given random deliveries to do on foot to medical centres or patients nearby which i treated like a stroll to avoid going back to the grind

no clue i got offered the position after doing work experience there (1 week of slave labor)
there were other hs students working there so id assume minimal to no experience needed but itll be different depending on the store (this was a local pharmacy not a franchise)
maybe look for job openings on indeed or seek or something
