Sorry, i should have mentioned... Hindustani music is north Indian classical while carnatic music is south indian.

i'm giving the HSC next month... i think i kinda know about it, yeah! my prelims just got over today & i've logged on as a mark of celebration. will probably camp at boredofstudies once HSC gets over.
