Did anyone accept their conditional offer? I did on thursday and the lady I spoke to said if the offer status doesnt change on the website by friday call her, which I did but no one picked up, it still hasnt changed eitherand now its Saturday so I dont think I can call. Should I be worried?

Hey folks, sorry to necro an old thread but a shout-out to all the BIT folks out there: have you found that the UNSW system has frozen your enrolment to 3979 Information Systems when it probably should be 3971 Information Systems (Co-op)? Both are UAC code 424004 but "One UAC code may correspond to several UNSW Program options, e.g. 421000. After you have accepted and confirmed your initial UNSW offer you will be given the alternative options to select from." (source: https://my.unsw.edu.au/student/commencing/UacTable.html)

I haven't had any access to such alternative options, and the UNSW website is already getting me to select courses! I was wondering if this was happening to the rest of us, and if so, if we should do something about it. Cheers!

EDIT: Looks like this is a fairly old issue which the 2009 and 2004 cohorts both experienced too:

[RSVP Required] Aerospace Engineering (RURAL)

[Interview Accepted] Mechatronic Engineering (RURAL)'

Does this mean I have to have four interviews? And is the 'Mechanical Engineering' one WITHOUT the (rural) tag a co-op scholarship interview? Its all pretty confusing to be honest.
Oh and what is the minimum ATAR to be accepted?

Minimum ATAR is 96 without bonus points, and you only have to attend one interview (it says this on their site somewhere). As for the one without the rural tag, I'd assume that's just a plain co op. But regardless, one interview only. Congratulations

Hey First time I've been on here in ages!

Just thought I'd let anyone applying for EAS know that they do take EAS points into consideration for co-op but they don't take subject specific bonus points. I didn't meet the cut-off for co-op and I remember there was a lot of ambiguity about whether or not my EAS points qualified, but they did, at least this was the case in 2011.

Good luck to everyone doing the interviews, just stay calm and you'll do great, I'll probably see some of you there

1. called up the dean of coop
2. whipped up a conversation with the chick; talked for about 45 minutes abt shit
3. express my disappointment, come up with excuses why i couldn't apply
4. bam - she puts me in for the interview.

didn't even fking apply. LOL
