yeah ay i wanna start work now... if u think about it.. the process took so bloody long... since july or watever... and now we r free they wait but for what?! its meant to b a christmas casual job and xmas is in like 2days (figure of speach) but sheesh... im like the rest of yaz and farout im broke as broke can be lol.

i think the thing was the earlier u started work the more work u got. Cause like in Grace Bros they needed people early on like end of october and early november but now everyone from the recruitment is coming in and half the time there are too many people so they then only call u in when they absolutely need u.

Thats not true, some stores haven't called on their xmas recruits yet. They don't hire more ppl than they need either.

as i said i wasn't commenting on kmart cause i don't know how it works. But in Grace Bros city store anyway there is no coordination whatsoever. Management is stuffed actually nearly none existed so they wouldn't even have a clue as to what they would need or not need.

no it wasn't fun it was a killer. my department was understaffed too. All the part time and full time people said they wouldn't do it cause after tax the maths just didn't add up. So we had three people taking a whole department for like 2 hrs until the sent 2 people from other departments to help with the registers.
how mclake how's ur shifts? are they irratic. Mine are stuffed. I got one next week none the week after and one the week after that. It just sucks.
