Apparently you cannot apply for concession transport if you're employed. Is this true? Isn't this a flawed system, if it is true because what if you have only one parent working and is a low income earner?

no lol, if you live far enough and are an Australian citizen you are eligible for a concession sticker

Putting aside the fact that "no-one asks", why should you be entitled to a concession sticker if you (by your own admission) are working?

Because what if you have a single low income earner parent and you're working for the sake to help pay bills? clearly you should be entitled.

I'm in the exact same situation but I don't feel "entitled" to a concession card?

That said, like many have mentioned, they won't ask.

if they ask if you're employed just say you are not employed

i've been asked once out of three times and i just said 'no'

and bam
