Confused about prescribed and related text (1 Viewer)

Hey, I was just looking at previous papers and most of them require you to use your prescribed text and one other related text.
In class we studied two of Henry Lawson's short stories and one other related texts. Can I use two Henry Lawson stories in my essay or are you only allowed to use one as they are the prescribed texts?

his short stories together are the prescribed text i think
so use a selected few you know very well

i would probably use two or three... cos theres no way u could write an deep essay on just one of Lawsons short-stories
Good luck with essaying... i've been writing a lawson essay for the past week practising for my half yearlies in two weeks

i would use two of lawsons and one related text, but you need to know both of lawsons really well coz two short, brief bits on him wouldn't look good in an exam
