Congratulations to all concerned BUT I find it curious that 4 girls from one school are in the Top 10 given the number of PIPs that are done in a year.
I consider the whole PIP process flawed.
Its less than stringent monitoring concerns me.

Agreed, 9/10 were female and only one was asian.

These were the results of the HSC exam not the PIP, there were a few more guys in the PIP top 10. in regards to always.dreamings post probably the reason why there were so many more girls in the top achievers than boys is that majority of students that take this subject are female, out of 70 SAC students at my school we had about 4 males, and its really got nothing to do with students ethnicities lol

yeh rose bay is public. i think that due to society being a subject thats really hard to understand that it depends on the teacher..and if thers a good society faculty then the students are more likely to do well..all those schools awlways appear because of their teachers.

a massive massive congratualations to anna, eugenia, hilary and vivienne! i've read their PIPs and they are absolutely amazing, im sure their HSC responses were of the same calibre

For a second I freaked out thinking this was 2008 and I was like "Lolwhut? exam hasn't happened yet."

Holly Lawson from Merewether High school is in there, from the year above me. Merewether is not a private school.
