if g(b) = lim (x-> b) g(b) then the function is continuous at point b.

Note a(x^2 -9) / (x+3) = a(x-3) except x cannot equal -3 because that would result in division by zero.

So now you need to find value value of a such that when x=-3, a(x-3) will equal 12
