Im using my boyfriends BOS account to ask you what may seem like a stupid question.

im a newby at uni and i was wondering where do you find out what books you need to buy for each unit when the lists arent up?

sorry if it sounds stupid im just a bit stressed and lost

The shop had a steady flow of people at the registers. It'll be the same as sem 1, huge lines etc.

somehow when the 60-70 yr old woman served me, i didnt think, pwaryeux from bos, ok?

frog, the list is in the co op shop, at the back counter. they arent going to be put online (i think that was the case?). so you would need to go to uni, or if you are lazy, call them up.

I think the reasons it's reasonably quiet is that most people think the list will eventaully go up on the web. Wait till Monday when it hits..

same - I brought a book from the coop bookshop and despite flashing my discount card, they didn't give me a discount! thats the first time that i've been rejected by my card... grrr....

no, not the course notes - an actual textbook from the actual coop book shop. I guess they're really stingy now... oh well

To see if my lecturer has an available position for research work.

If you do science you should ask your lecturer or demonstrator. Usually for biology subjects as they have easier tasks to do (like gel electrophoresis work). Good experience.
