hay all pe students past and present... this question goes out to everyone studying pe this year and anyone that can lend their services from last year (if you guys and gals remember after being away from it for so long)...

in the 2003 HSC exam, multiple choice question 13 :
During which process is muscle glycogen converted to pyruvic acid?
a) Alactacid glycolysis
b) Anabolic glycolysis
c) ATP/PC glycolysis
d) Aerobic glycolysis

the answer is d)

would someone please be able to explain to me how this is so...?
my conclusions are that glycogen turns into puryvic acid just before it turns into lactic acid, so, therefore, it is the lactic acid process. the lactic acid process is anaerobic, meaning it doesn't use oxygen, so therefore, how can the answer be Aerobic Glycolysis...?

all help is greatly appreciated.....
