Yes. However, I believe many will not due to the fear that It will cause health problems. Also, like the COVIDsafe app they created not everyone downloaded it because they thought it was a risk to their privacy. :)
Good point.

Vaccines are slowly rolling out though, so I'd imagine it's only a matter of time before they get it under control.
They're all going to health care workers first. Best case scenario is general public access around March 2021. That is still 3-4 months away.

I'm gonna wait a bit before getting one just incase. Even though I'm an advocate for Science, it's not 100% perfect!
I think a lot of people have similar thoughts. The problem is that if everyone (or a significant enough portion) has the same mentality of waiting for others to go first, it's going to take forever to get to the required herd immunity levels...

Yeah it’s unfortunate but then again considering there’s large groups of Anti-vaxxers even though there’s soo much evidence for vaccines I would say the opposite extreme probably exists as well.

How would I know? Who knows the actual percentage.

This article seems to suggest a decent amount of people are anti-vaxxers. Obviously this isn’t conclusive so actual percentages will vary but it’s probably not gonna be negligible.

Update: The coronavirus vaccine which has been given to the public in the UK has caused unanticipated side effects such as shortness of breath to those with allergies..

They are now telling people with those allergies not to take the vaccine.

Not sure it was really unanticipated? Basically every vaccine i've ever had they always ask first if you have allergies or had adverse reactions to previous vaccines.

I heard the people affected in the UK all carried epipens, so must have had relatively serious allergies.

Looks like we’re most likely getting the Oxford vaccine at this rate. There’s only enough of the Pfizer vaccine ordered for 5 million people.

You're claiming there's "large groups of anti-vaxxers" but don't actually know if this is true?
According to the survey I linked it’s actually a decent amount of people. Even though the percentage is not that much that’s still a lot of people especially for something that’s just a conspiracy. As for large groups I meant large only in terms of the number of people that believe in the idea of anti-vaxxers which is seen in the survey.

  • Donny’s Bar, 7 Market Place, Manly: Saturday 12 December, 3:15pm – 9pm

  • Garfish Seafood Restaurant, 39 East Esplanade, Manly: Thursday 17 December, 6:45pm – 8:30pm
Anyone who attended the following venues on the dates and times below is considered a casual contact and should get tested immediately and isolate until they receive a negative result:
  • Woolworths, Riverwood Plaza, 247 Belmore Road, Riverwood: Wednesday 9 December, 3pm – 3:35pm

Times have been revised for the following hair salons, which were announced in previous Public Health Alerts. Anyone who was at the following venues at the following times is considered a close contact and should get tested immediately and self-isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result:
  • Salon for Hair, 3/1335 Pacific Highway, Turramurra: Any time from Tuesday 15 December to Friday 18 December inclusive
  • Hair by Erika, 17/43 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove: Friday 11 December, 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Advice published in a Public Health Alert regarding Warringah Mall has also been updated. Unless advised by NSW Health that they are close contacts, people who attended Warringah Mall on Wednesday 16 December between 11.40am and 1.30pm are considered casual contacts and should monitor for symptoms, and test and self-isolate if symptoms occur.
Given the challenges associated with reaching venues which are closed due to the Northern Beaches lockdown, NSW Health advises that some venues may be included in public health alerts and on the NSW Government website prior to NSW Health informing the venue directly. This is to ensure contacts can be notified as quickly as possible of any potential risk.
Confirmed cases travelled on the following transport services. Other passengers are considered to be casual contacts, and should get tested and isolate until a negative result is received:
  • Bus Route 199, Saturday 12 December, departing Newport Hotel, Kalinya Street, 7am arriving Avalon Beach, 7.15am
  • Bus Route 199, Saturday 12 December, departing Avalon Beach 12.20am, arriving Newport Hotel, Kalinya Street, 12.45am
