not sure if this is correct, but I heard that last year's cohort got an extra atar adjustment factor for the impact COVID had on them.

If this is right would this apply to us as well?

Being from the 2020 cohort myself, I'm not aware of a scheme like that being implemented for us. However, I sourced on NESA's website what they do have in place --> https://www.educationstandards.nsw....C-students-significantly-impacted-by-covid-19

I don't think it provided us bonus points or anything, but it may have affected the strictness of marking exams (from what the article mentions).

Not sure about other unis, but Macquarie is giving 5 bonus points for covid

so some unis maybe like maq is giving 5 adjustment factors. Your ATAR will never be changed. NESA does have special considerations in place as @icycledough mentioned but that is simply for external HSC marks and not your atar. Your school would have needed to apply for this on behalf of your grade or you individually. Check the website for eligibility criteria
