if they said use this quote as an opening my thought would be no

but then again can they really deduct marks if you changed the person? i dunno, like would you get a whole band lower... don't think so :/

In some cases you could probably just adapt that to 3rd person by saying like "

plagued the mind of X" where X = a random character

if that makes sense

I change from 3rd to first then back in my creative, I believe it's normally ok.
However if they give you it as a stimulus.... you never know.... it's a gamble when the BOS is involved...

Use the quote as an opening mind, like if its first person hve it set the scene.

Then do * * * (These three asteriks things indicate a change in tense or timeline iono I.E FLASHBACK).

Continue with your creative in 3rdperson that follows up the beginning. I do that if worst comes to worst.
