What are the other options for creative writing? In last year's HSC they used 'imaginative writing'.

I'm not a 'creative' person as much as I am a 'writer'. So, if you tell me to come up with a story it'll be pretty lacking in a few regards.

If I could do like a feature article, or perhaps speech...then to me it'd be much easier.

Much thanks if anyone can help me with this dilemma. Also, good luck...

Yea, they can ask for feature articles, newspaper articles, speeches, diary entries, etc. Not common though.

Cool, but can you do them if they specify something like 'imaginative writing' which is pretty broad...

Do you happen to know what year they've specifically asked for any of those? :)
Thanks~

Pretty sure you can, I did a diary entry for my CSSA trial and got 12/15. It didn't specify a diary entry, it just said a creative piece.

Nope, just check the papers from the past years.
