Does any one know whos broadcasting the cricket from tha carribean this yr ?? for free to air tv ??

i don't think so. probably austar. channel 9 never gets the rights to any oversea's seasons...

yeah i'm pretty sure it won't be on free to air. otherwise either sbs or nine would be boasting about it through ads. plus i can't find anything on the net and austar/foxtel always have everything cricket.

i swear the 99 and 03 world cups were on channel 9, if not both times atleast 1 of them were.

*Shrugs* i was pretty sure it was on channel 9 too.. (the last one)

i was at camp while it was on and symonds scored that massive score..

(we weren't allowed to watch tv, but hey, there were tv's....and it was accidentally turned on..so what could you do. ) :)

i think channel 7 broadcast one of teh two previous world cups.

even if we get it live - it will be like the late night/ early mornign - odd hours.

But nowadays that isnt a problem with dvd recorders :wave:

or you can just stay up...

e.g. ashes in england. sif you didn't stay up and watch it... (i did although i fell asleep at times XD)

weeeee for dvd recorders.
but its 10000000x better live. so i'll definitely stay up.

channel 7 had the 2003 world cup...they had tha crappy commentary

It wasn't that bad because all the british and aussie commentators were broadcasting for both british and aussie channels. so if nine had the coverage then it would've been the same - except for in between innings.

Sevens coverage was bad. But nine craps all over them. Seven does not know cricket and nine is definitely the best at it.
