I'd say that with age of consent the laws need to be adjusted. 16 is too young. If your 16 year old child was sleeping with a 30 year olds or something wouldn't you be grossed out?

14-17 3 years difference IMO, obviously discretion is possible, e.g. it's unlikely a 21 year old would be prosecuted for banging a 17 year old, but it can be considered.
thats shit.

age of consent is should be when you can reproduce. This is the natural age as nature intends.

Okay, fair enough, don't entirely agree, but you said on the basis of being "grossed out". Given that there have been idiots in this thread that have said certain rights should not be granted literally on the basis that they find them "gross", rather than the far more understandable reason of manipulation or w/e, you can see why I would respond the way I did.
