I hope everyone on the 23rd and 1st cruises had/are having fun. My turn is on the 9th... Looking forward to it.
Anyway I just wanted to ask a few questions about the cruise, in the hope that those people who had just come back from one will answer them for me =D...

1. Is there karaoke on the cruise?
2. How much are mixed drinks (e.g. Vodka & Coke or Midori and Lemonade)?
3. And what about pre-mixed (bottled) drinks (e.g. Cruisers, Breezers)?
4. What kind of music is played in the clubs/bars?
5. Are the on-board pools seedy? (Lol, my prediction is that they will be)...
6. Do the inside, windowless cabins feel claustrophobic?
7. What's the average cocktail price?
8. What is the best island/tour?
9. What on board shops are there?
10. I heard there's markets on one of the islands, is that true? If so, are they any good?

Anyway, thanks in advance to those who shed a little light onto those questions...

2. Beers start from around $4.50 so judging by the comparison between prices in loval pubs and clubs Smirnoffs and other premixed drinks'll probably be around $6-7

5. Aparantly they're really packed pretty much all the time.

YES

Vodka and OJ = $5.50, Vodka and Redbull = $11 - they all range in between those

3. And what about pre-mixed (bottled) drinks (e.g. Cruisers, Breezers)?
Cruisers are 5.50 as well i think.

4. What kind of music is played in the clubs/bars?
80's and 90's in OZ also some techno, House and RnB in the terrace and the deck is mostly house but it all varies, some rock, house rnb etc etc


5. Are the on-board pools seedy? (Lol, my prediction is that they will be)...
the on board pools aint very big no one realy uses them, i didnt go in.


6. Do the inside, windowless cabins feel claustrophobic?
no not really, unless you get claustrophobic, you are only in them too sleep, you can just feel the boat rocking more in those cabins

7. What's the average cocktail price?
cocktails were about 10$


8. What is the best island/tour?
isle of pines, i didnt get a chance to do a tour but id say try jet skiing

9. What on board shops are there?
souvenir store, snack store, and then like a jewellery, perfume and digital entertainment store

yeah there are markets on all 3. nothing too special just lil souvenirs and teeshirts etc

I think Emma pretty much covered it all, but I had an inside cabin and didn't feel Claustrophobic at all - they give you a pretend window (curtains over a bare wall, lol) to make you feel better
The advantage is that if you want to sleep or watch a movie or whatever during the day, you can just shut the door and it feels like night. We usually had our door open though to say hello to passers-by, lol.

Make the most of it - it's absolutely unbelievable!

1. most are cool and if you do the right thing by them then no worries... however there are a few cunts

2. i never even spoke to or saw mine, but most people reckon they were cool. most of them are indos so theyr really chilled

3. i only had one drink on the islands, it was a corona at noumea, and it was almost $12. on Liffou you can crack your own coconuts open and drink them

4. yeah, deck parties were good. pretty much every night

5. none that i saw. dont bother, security will dominate you

6. no booze served between 4-10am, but clubs were closing before that i think. if you havent picked up by then theres something wrong anyway so get fucked! hahahaha

7. lie in the sun and check out the talent mate, what more can i say?

8. saw a LOT of moot, it was great. was never a snag-fest

i took $810, i won a couple hunjy in the casino too (lost it all and some on the last night tho hahaha) and spent everything.

if youre not 18 you wont spend nearly as much. it all depends on what you wanna spend your money on. if you wanna buy lots of shitty souvenirs (theyr pretty exy) then take that into acount. if you can hold a lot of grog and drink like a fish (like me) then youre gonna be spending about $100+ per night on drinks alone.

if you budget for a hundred bux a day then you'll be pretty right
