OK then, what was the go with the stationary points question? I got the answers 0, -2 and 2 and when I tested them only 0 worked. Then they said show -2 was a turning point? How does that work? I waisted so much time on the question and that is the main reason why I did not finish the exam:(.

Was that the question where x = 2 was a point of inflexion?

Yeah, I was wondering if it was that question?
You had to graph it afterwards,

f(x) = 4x^2 - x^3?

Yes, that was it but the question said show that x = 2 was a solution and it did not work for me:(.

It worked for me...i was so proud. No idea what i did tho. I think i found y" and put in x=2 and got 0 or something...maybe that's not even the same question. Ours was changed, we didn't have any train question (i hope).

It was awful. I know I did some pretty stupid mistakes, too. Like things turned out negative and Q10 didn't work for me when i had to graph it. Oh well...betta study for tomorrow - i have lost all confidence in myself :(

for q10 a
q was area of y=lnx
you had to make it x=e^y and have limits of ln4 and 0
then you solve etc and should have got 3
i dont recall a train q, wtf? did i miss a page or somethin?>
10b for us was a sine cosine rule one

I agree. The CSSA Trial paper was a nightmare. I just finished it today and it was shocking. They focused way too much on log and e and trig ratios (cotec and cot??).

I think out of the last 5 questions, i did maybe 4 parts in total. I found out of all of them, the one about the tank emptying the easiest on the paper

no i got 8

i found the the area of the recantagle In 4 x 5 then minused it from the the area between 1 and 5 of y = Inx^2

the answer worked out to be 8

Solve:

you then go

m^1/x = n^3

ln both sides

lnm^1/x = 3lnn

(1/x)ln m = 3ln n

therefore
1/x = 3ln n/ln m

then flip it

x= ln m/ 3lnn

thats what i got
