hahaha i love how this is in the 'Offbeat News' and his heart stopped beating.

And he can't claim "They didn't tell me what would happen if i drank too much" the amount he drank he obviously knew it was wrong and the intake is labelled.

Purely psychological.

I think our media/government puts too much emphasis on pointless shit such as the above. Instead of protesting for better labels on soft drinks and wasting AUD $189 million on pornography filters we should be addressing other, more important issues.

You should work on your use of sarcasm, not to mention your spelling and punctuation.

Marijuana is regarded as bad by individuals such as yourself because it is a banned substance. Smoking cannabis is less harmful than alcohol.

Marijuana doesn't damage your liver or kill brain cells, alcohol does both. The effects of alcohol are also more serious than marijuana and a drunk person is a much bigger concern that a stoned one.

Maybe you should stop following the legal bandwagon and use your brain to form your own opinions. Just by reading your post I've established what kind of person you are.

You don't go out much.

You don't have many friends and the few that you do have are like minded.

You are societies slave.

I've experienced more things in my short life than you will in a lifetime. You can thank your secluded lifestyle and ignorance for this.

Marijuana is not harmful to the body, the smoke is. This, like I've stated in other threads, can be avoided with the use of other smoking methods.

So we should we waste money "warning" millions of people about things they wouldn't do anyway and that a small amount are going to do regardless?

This guy whines because he didn't follow instructions? If the label says don't drink more than x amount a day, common sense would assume that nothing good will happen after said amount is consumed in a day.

It has a warning label. Warns you not to drink more than 2 cans per day. If you're going to ignore it, and consume 4x the recommended daily limit in 5 hours in a competitive situation, well you're just asking for it aren't you?

Such as what? What's more important then stopping young kids having access to porno? The way I see it filters are good - seems to me they're deliberately loose, allowing those who really want to access porno to cirumvent them, but stopping those who don't know how (read: young children) not to access them.

I do agree, however, the media does place too much emphasis on pointless shit - but then, if they didn't, the paper would be full of deaths and heartaches :S

You seem to have ignored the side effects of marijuana, such as mental illness (eg schizophrenia) and physcosis. I'm not going to argue which is more harmful - I dont have the knowledge - but it would seem to me that these are more severe then anything alcohol can do to you. I don't think you can make an assertion that alcohol is more serious then marijuana based off just an analysis of alcohol alone...

Ad hominem. How the hell do you know anything about his/her life, based off one post? You don't, so you shouldn't claim to. This has NOTHING to do with what you're saying , so why bother including it? If anything, it shows you're intolerance of people who don't agree with you...

hey meowz0r i think the government should censor and ban anything that could be offensive or harmful to anyone since it's for our own good
mm, assuming sarcasm, clearly that's not what's being suggested. The ban only targets pornography - the main people effected are those who can't use peer to peer programs, young children.
