Hi! I have a quick question

It is for a prac - this is from Jacaranda new version prelim

2. Pass at least five different currents through the
resistor by varying both the voltage of the
power supply and the resistance of the variable
resistor.

Why is it that we vary two components? (The aim is to determine resistance)

Ahhh going crazy...
well using ohm's law V=IR or rearranging it I=V/R, we can see that different currents will be produced if voltage and resistance vary.
and if you're aim is to determine resistance the R=V/I therefore we also need to vary two components which is voltage and Current to get a certain resistance
