are there any additional text books i can buy that are pretty good for maths pathways 5.3 year 10?
i dont really want to get the excel school certificate ones at the moment because i dont think they are going to help that much with the stuff we're doing, as it is quite complex in comparison to other pathways at our school.
just wondering.
thanks.

Excel for Year 10 does help, if you buy the 'Advanced' Book though. Use Spectrum Mathematics Year 10 Advanced and Mathscape 10 Extension but these books aren't cheap like Excel. =)

i found it pretty good, a little more detailed than new insight mathematics

Spectrum is not really good. I think the good ones are: MathsZone, Mathscape, and New Century. Signpost is decent but the exercises are a bit too easy.
